Audio Input Device Selection​

  • Added Audio Input settings in the navigation drawer for choosing which microphone to use.
  • Web detects connected devices such as USB, built-in, and Bluetooth microphones.
  • Selection persists between sessions.

Transcription Reliability​

  • Added configurable primary and backup cloud transcription providers.
  • Added automatic retry with increasing delays (up to 4 attempts). Network errors and timeouts are retried instead of failing silently.
  • Added request timeouts for long-running transcription work.

Conversion Model Upgrades​

  • Added separate regular and advanced model routes for conversion work.
  • Added configurable model choices and an automatic provider fallback chain.
  • Added a source-verification step and stricter citation-integrity rules for research conversions.

Playback Fixes​

  • Fixed recording playback silently failing when the browser blocks autoplay. The play state now verifies actual playback before showing the playing icon.
  • Audio elements report load errors to the console for debugging.

UI Polish​

  • Feedback modal keyboard behavior improved: modal docks to keyboard top instead of leaving dead space.
  • Notionists avatar pack scaled to match other packs in pixel density.
  • Fixed refresh navigation: logged-out users no longer see a flash of the landing page before redirecting to login.

E2E Testing​

  • Added Playwright tests for recording flow, audio input settings, and feedback modal.
  • Admin test user configured with full feature access for automated testing.

  • Migrated all documentation from scattered markdown files and in-app screens to a unified Docusaurus v3 site.

  • Consolidated branding guidelines, design tokens, OKLCH color ramps, and WCAG audit findings into the Branding & Design section.
  • Replaced the in-app documentation screen with a link to the external docs site.
