Data Deletion
You can delete individual content while keeping your account, or permanently delete the entire account.
Delete A Recording
- Sign in to Proset.
- Open the recording.
- Tap the trash icon.
- Confirm deletion.
This removes the recording record, its transcript and attached conversions, and its uploaded audio from Proset storage. Saved files created from a conversion are separate items; delete those from Files if you no longer need them.
Delete A Saved File
- Open Files.
- Open the file menu.
- Choose Delete and confirm.
Deleting a custom folder does not automatically delete files that were inside it.
Delete Your Account
- Open Settings -> Account.
- Open Delete Account.
- Enter your current password.
- Confirm deletion.
Account deletion removes your Proset authentication account, recordings, uploaded audio, transcripts, conversions, saved files, folders, usage records, configured integrations, and AI customization data. The operation is permanent and cannot be undone.
Active web subscriptions billed by Stripe are canceled immediately before the profile is deleted. A Google Play subscription is managed by Google and is not canceled by deleting the Proset profile; cancel it in Google Play before deleting the account to prevent future renewal.
External Services And Backups
- Files already copied to a connected Drive or other backup provider are not deleted by Proset. Remove them directly from that provider.
- Subscription and transaction records held by Stripe, Google Play, or another payment provider follow that provider's retention and legal requirements, even after the Proset profile is deleted.
- Audio and text sent for transcription, conversion, or research are processed by the AI providers configured at the time of the request and are subject to the applicable privacy policy and provider terms.
