Proset separates two kinds of work: preserving what you are thinking and deciding what that thought should become.

Capture protects the unfinished idea

Trying to choose a perfect format while speaking can interrupt recall and increase the effort required to begin. Proset lets you record or type the source first. A saved recording becomes recoverable audio, and cloud transcription makes it editable.

The source can remain informal. Pauses, corrections, and incomplete organization are acceptable because capture is not yet the final artifact.

Transformation is a deliberate second decision

After reviewing the source, you choose whether it should become a summary, email, task list, plan, research draft, or another conversion type. Custom context, attachments, clarification, and AI settings refine that request without changing what was originally captured.

Separation makes results easier to trust

The editable source and final artifact have different roles. You can correct the source and run another conversion, while each completed artifact remains a stable record of one request. Thought Threads extend the same model across several capture sessions by freezing one snapshot per run.
