Why Proset

Proset began with a vital idea, almost lost in a grocery store parking lot.

One evening, walking from my car to HEB after work — overloaded, tense, running behind — I had what I call a vital idea: a thought that actually matters. An appointment I couldn't afford to forget. A solution to a problem at work. A new creative direction. An essential piece of a plan. Vital ideas are life-giving, life-maintaining, life-building — sometimes life-saving. And in the rush of competing priorities, they can fade from working memory in seconds, gone for good.

What Proset is not

Proset is not a meeting recorder. It is not a voice recorder with AI. It is not a mere transcriber, though it can transcribe. Those tools serve other purposes.

A scaffold for the mind

Proset is a scaffold for the mind: a way to capture vital ideas the moment they surface, organize them, transcribe them when you want, string scattered thoughts together thematically, and turn them back into action — an email, a blog post, a to-do list — at a price people can actually afford.

Be well

The name means "Be well." Proset is a catalyst for the life Aristotle called eudaimonia: human flourishing.
