Configure Drive Backups
Drive Backups save external copies of audio, transcripts, and final artifacts. They require an active Cloud Sync entitlement and a provider that is ready in the current app environment.
Before you begin
- Sign in to Proset.
- Confirm that Cloud Sync is active for the account.
- Choose Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or Nextcloud/WebDAV.
- If a provider says Not ready yet, choose another provider or contact support.
Connect Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox
- Open Settings → Integrations → Drive Backups.
- Find the provider.
- Select its Connect action.
- Sign in to the provider and approve Proset's access request.
- Return to Proset.
- Select Test on the provider card.
Setup is complete when the provider shows Connected and the test passes.
Connect Nextcloud or another WebDAV server
Obtain the WebDAV server URL, username, and password or app password from the provider.
- Open Settings → Integrations → Drive Backups.
- Open Advanced: Nextcloud / WebDAV.
- Enter the server URL, username, and password or app password.
- Select Connect.
- Select Test.
Verify the backup
- Create or change a recording, transcript, or conversion artifact.
- Wait for backup processing.
- In the external drive, find the
aiformsfolder. - Confirm that the expected audio, transcript, or conversion file exists.
Disconnecting a provider stops new backups but does not delete files already stored in the external drive.
If a test fails, disconnect, reconnect, and test again. If the provider opens an app-configuration error or remains unavailable, contact support and name the failed provider.
