Customize a conversion type
Customize a conversion type when you want future results to follow your preferred purpose, voice, constraints, structure, or quality standard.
Open the instruction editor
- Open Settings → AI Configuration.
- Select Instructions.
- Select an available conversion type to expand its editor.
If the conversion shows a lock, it requires the plan displayed on the card. To customize a conversion from an enabled pack, sign in, select Packs, expand the pack, and then select its conversion type.
Set the custom behavior
- In the first field, describe the result you want. Name the output goal, intended audience, and necessary structure.
- In Voice & Persona, describe a concrete role and its relationship to the reader, such as “A concise technical writer explaining specifications to a first-time customer.”
- Add each non-negotiable constraint as a separate Rule. Use direct instructions such as “Always name an owner for every action item.”
- In Output Example, paste a short result that demonstrates the structure and tone you want Proset to follow.
- Add each desired review standard as a separate Quality Criterion, phrased as a positive attribute of a strong result.
- Select Save changes.
Use the add button after entering each rule or quality criterion. For exact field limits and storage behavior, see AI Configuration fields.
Verify the customization
Reopen the same conversion type and confirm that the saved values appear. Run a new conversion of that type to evaluate the result. Existing artifacts do not change.
Restore the default behavior
- Open the conversion type again.
- Select Reset to Default.
- Confirm the reset.
The editor returns all five fields for that conversion type to Proset's current defaults.
