Record a voice note

Record a voice note when speaking is easier than typing.

Start recording

1. Open Recordings.
2. Tap the microphone button.
3. When the recorder opens at 0:00, tap the large microphone control.
4. Speak at a natural pace.

The timer advances and the microphone control changes to a pause icon while Proset is recording.

Pause or resume

1. Tap the pause control to take a break.
2. Tap the same control again to resume.

Finish and save

Tap Done. Proset saves the recording, opens its detail screen, uploads the audio, and starts cloud transcription automatically.

Wait for text to appear under Transcript before creating a conversion.

Discard instead of saving

Tap Discard if you do not want to keep the active recording. Confirm the action if Proset asks.
